Defense Alliance of North Carolina (DANC) Women Business Leaders Forum

The highly anticipated Defense Alliance of North Carolina (DANC) Women Business Leaders Forum is back and scheduled to take place on May 9th from 12:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the North Carolina Biotechnology Center. This annual event promises an enriching experience for attendees, featuring networking opportunities, insightful discussions, and inspiration from esteemed keynote speakers.
The theme of this year’s event revolves around unleashing the potential of women business leaders, aligning perfectly with the mission of DANC-WBL. Our mission is to propel the defense industry forward by embracing purposeful growth, entrepreneurial vision, empowered leadership, innovation, collaboration, and creative excellence. We believe in the power of connecting trailblazers and forging collaborative pathways to create unrivaled networking and partnership opportunities.
NC Black Summit

This year’s theme, “Igniting Progress, Demanding Equity,” perfectly aligns as we approach the pivotal 2024 election—one of the most critical in our lifetime. The 2024 Summit brings together Black elected officials, public policy advocates, community stakeholders, and strategic partners to strategize on mobilizing voters, safeguarding voting rights, and addressing community issues for a more just and equitable North Carolina.
NC MedAssist Executive Luncheon
As a member of the NC MedAssist board, Iris Phillips, President and CEO of Grace, was honored to serve as an executive host of this remarkable event! Witnessing the incredible unity of our community and the NC MedAssist team coming together to raise funds for patients in need. The esteemed Dr. Yele Aluko MD, MBA, FACC, FSCAI. served as the keynote speaker on health equity. His insightful presentation brilliantly illustrated the importance of health equity in a manner accessible to all.
